Job Title: Desk-Based Acquisition Advisor

Reporting to: Sales Acquisition Manager – Small Business

Department: Sales SMB

Location: Preston Brook

Closing date: 08/08/2022

 

As a Desk Based Acquisition Advisor, your main responsibility is to convert generated leads. These are from campaigns, online enquiries and webchat as well as own and convert opportunity leads from our sales demand generation areas. You will sell all products within the current product portfolio including digital and new products and services as they are added.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Identify customer needs and promote relevant business solutions to improve revenue-generating opportunities; balancing the needs of the business with those of the customer to ensure the solution makes good business sense and improves the customer experience
  • Target achievement
  • You will use and maintain your Saleforce.com prospect database for effective pipeline management and sales activity for relevant customers
  • Provide solutions and propositions for business customers that include mobile, fixed line, digital and IT solutions.
  • Manage multiple opportunities at the same time, and navigate through internal processes and sales governance to meet customer timescales and business expectations whilst maintaining a detailed understanding of products, policies, procedures and services

 

The must-haves

 

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience

  • Previous sales experience (ideally selling in a B2B environment)
  • Ability to engage customers and develop relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with being proactive & reactive to customer’s needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A self-motivator who is enthusiastic, professional and well organised
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to write e-mails to the highest of standards.
  • Experience with communications and I.T. Industry (desirable)
